We woke up to our first real snow of the season! Actually, it began snowing big, wet flakes last night, so we were prepared. We played, and now it’s time for me to get back to my NaNoWriMo project. I’m at 40,000 words, and I plan on at least getting down another 5,000 today. Yay for snow days!
We made it through opening night! The ballet is just beautiful. My daughter’s dance studio has classes for all ages, and it was fun to see them all in the ballet. The high school and college students do the main parts, of course, but the little ones all have their dances as well. My tiny dancer is a duck! And let me tell you, these are the cutest ducks ever (though my son thought it was a costume flop because they didn’t have beaks!).
Here’s pictures from dress rehearsal. We can’t take pictures during the actual performances, but that’s alright. It left me free to sit back and enjoy the show.
I’m still here! I haven’t disappeared, I’ve just been diligently working on my NaNoWriMo novel. It’s going well, by the way! I’m at 30,000 words, and we just hit the halfway point! Yay!
October was super busy with school, fun fall activities, and our church’s harvest party. Here’s a little bit of what we’ve been up to!
Tonight is opening night for my daughter’s performance of Sleeping Beauty! I got some great pictures from last night’s dress rehearsal, and hopefully I will be able to post those tomorrow. Have a blessed weekend!
